Colin Heidel’s passion for construction was sparked early in the historic neighborhoods of Wyoming, Ohio, where he grew up immersed in the restoration of Victorian homes. A close family friend’s dedication to large-scale restorations sparked Colin’s early interest and instilled a lifelong respect for craftsmanship and hard work.

That passion evolved into a career grounded in both field experience and strategic insight. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati—graduating with high honors in 2008—Colin worked with Schumacher Dugan as a co-op and part-time team member. There, he gained exposure to the full scope of site development, assisting in preliminary budgets for turnkey warehouse and land acquisitions under seasoned leadership.

Since 2016, Colin has lead all pre construction activities at Precision Site Development. Known for his hands-on approach and clear communication, he guides clients from initial budgeting through final construction document pricing. One of his earliest projects with the company—a full-site renovation of his own 100+ year-old grade school—was a full-circle moment that underscored his commitment to legacy and transformation.

Colin remains actively involved in every project through completion, ensuring each site reflects the same integrity, foresight, and attention to detail that first drew him to the industry. At Precision Site Development, he doesn’t just manage development—he builds trust, clarity, and lasting impact on each project.
